CTD Fixes & Leveling Improvements

Mark Jacobs
Mark Jacobs chimed in on the Herald just moments ago to tell us the good news and cheer us up for the holidays. As you might have noticed from recent patch notes, the dev team was quite busy working on fixing crashes to desktop (CTDs), fortress crashes, and lockup issues when exiting scenarios and at certain loading screens. According to Mark, it seems the changes done have helped tremendously:
- client crashes are down by 75%
- only one server has crashed due to a fortress take
- client lockups caused by patch 1.1 have been fixed (hopefully!)
The following news is certainly a welcome gift for the holidays: the leveling curve will receive several improvements:
rest experience multiplier bonus will be increased
the time it takes to earn rested xp while logged out of the game will be reduced
As a result, this should reduce the time required to level approximately 10% in Tier 2 and 20% in Tiers 3 and 4. I still think the leveling guides are a great investment but don’t take my word for it, try them yourself!
